PROJECT TUESDAY - PEEK A BOO BOX

Today on Project Tuesday we challenge you to make a Peek-A-Boo Box, instructions can be found here. I was having a bad day craft wise when I made this.....everything that could go wrong did go wrong! So please don't look too closely at mine, but go check out the fabulous creations from the DT instead!

LADYBIRD LADYBIRD......

It's the school Christmas Farye in a couple of weeks time. This event seemed a long way away when I first started making bits and bobs but it's now approaching fast and there are so many little things I want to make.

Below are some ladybird bookmarks made using giant paperclips which I bought from Staples.

SCSC #58 - FOUR SEASONS

Donna has chosen the fab theme of Four Seasons this week. It's up to you whether you use all four or choose one. I tried to use all four on mine, but got a little stuck with winter.....hence the blue ribbon !!

A PASSION FOR PAPERTREY - HO HO HO....!

Over at A Passion for Papertrey, Kate and Amy want us to think Christmas. I had to think deeply about this one as I don't have any Papertrey Christmas stamps.

After a bit of brain ache, I remembered the small glassine bags I'd bought from Papertrey Ink. Perfect !! After putting them through the cuttlebug to add a little Christmas detail, I filled them with pink smarties and added a Christmas sentiment. The little pink snowflakes are actually from the Papertrey Mailbox Greeting stamp set!

SCSC#57 - EASEL CARD

Gina has challenged us to make an Easel Card this week on SCSC...great challenge Gina, and one I thoroughly enjoyed! I have seen a few of these cards popping up recently and was very keen to have a go at making one myself!

You can find instructions for a 4"x 4" Easel Card here. You will see from the instructions that it's quite easy to change your dimensions.

The stamps and papers on my card are from Basic Greys new Nook and Pantry range, they really are fab!

A jolly good morning to you all from a very Wet Midlands! This month at Project Tuesday it's my turn to host the challenges...YAY. This week I have chosen a Triangle Box, I love these little boxes! Beate Johns has some fab intstructions and a video on how to make them here.

ANOTHER LITTLE NOTE OR TWO....

Two more notebooks today, oh and look.....it's THAT designer paper again lol !! In my last notebook post I said they were great value from Wilkinsons at only 25p, but having just purchased some more they are only actually 15p each....Now that is a bargain !!

The picture below is actually the inside of the Teacher's Apple Notebook (a previous post) but I just wanted to show you that I remove the notebook cover and add designer paper to the top, I think this just tarts them up a little.

SCSC#56 - HALLOWEEN

This week's theme on SCSC has been chosen by Jane... Great theme Jane !

Halloween is becoming more popular here in the UK as each year goes by, so it's becoming easier to get hold of fabulous stamp sets, just like this one from Waltzingmouse!

FLIGHT OF THE BUTTERFLY.....

This is a gorgeous stamp set from Stampin Up and one which I am sure I will use often. The butterfly punch is a great accompaniment to the set!

The little shopping list notebooks from Wilkinsons are great value at 25p! I am still using one I covered this time last year, the pages are firmly glued and don't fall apart!

Today I am going to show you my DT projects for both PTW and PROJECT TUESDAY as I made a matching set.

For PTW the challenge this week is Spots and Stripes, an easy one for me, as I couldn't wait to use my new pack of gorgeous design papers from Stampin Up!

Just perfect to use with one of Lauren Meader's fabulous templates....Totes around Town....

Today's post is a notebook I've made for the challenge on A Passion for Papertrey which is Going Dotty. I don't have many papertrey supplies so was really pleased to be able to use my gorgeous Teacher's Apple set, I love this set!
